BCCC CHOSEN A "NEIGHBORHOOD FAVE"
Thank you friends and neighbors for voting the Bills Creek Community Center one of your "Neighborhood Faves" on the Nextdoor social media platform. We really appreciate your support and engagement!
COMMUNITY SHOWS UP TO LEARN FIRST AID
We had over 50 attend life-saving CPR/First Aid demonstrations and hands-on participation offered by Rutherford County EMS. And we collected over $200 in donations towards an AED! Thank you to all who made this a very successful event! See photos in our gallery.

IRISH DINNER WAS RAINBOWS & GOLD!
The Irish Dinner was a success thanks to our community and volunteers, including students at the Lake Lure Classical Academy, who cooked and served a delicious meal. A special thank you to Sue and Lou Wiersma. See photos in our gallery.
NC REP JAKE JOHNSON GUEST SPEAKER

DOG PARK CLEAN UP CREW

CAROLS & COOKIES HOLIDAY GATHERING
We celebrated the holiday with cookies, hot drinks, and a musical singalong lead by John Hampton and Cathy Cox. A great turnout put us all in the holiday spirit! See photos in our gallery.

LIONS CLUB DONATION

ANNUAL TURKEY DINNER
Our Turkey Dinner was a great success! We served 345 meals and raised over $5000. We appreciate all volunteers, donated food, and meals purchased. A special thanks to Rumbling Bald of Lake Lure.
MUSIC FUN DAY
Our Music Fun Day held October 15th was a huge success! A big thank you to Michael Yelton, Cathy Cox, John Hampton, and our volunteers as well as all who came out to enjoy the beautiful day!
VOLUNTEERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
Thanks to donations and hundreds of volunteer hours, the BCCC has a fresh face! Renovations, updates, and improvements have made a huge impact on our Center!
COUNTY COMMISSIONER GUEST SPEAKER
County Commissioner Alan Toney was guest speaker at our September BCCC Board Meeting. He spoke about topics important to our community. We will follow up on anwers and updates to questions.
CAMPOUT AT BCCC
The Old Fort Freewill Baptist Church rented Bill’s Creek Community Center for their weekend camping trip in September. Looks like they had a great time!
